End It! X - Practical ways to participate in the fight against human trafficking

Today is Shine a Light on Slavery Day - People all over will be wearing red X's on their hand to bring awareness to this issue.  Did you know that there are more slaves in the world TODAY than at any other time in history?  And there are some practical things you can do RIGHT NOW to join the fight! 

1.  Learn about the issue.  I'm a Library Lady, so I'm going to tell you to read.  :)  Check out my Amazon shop list of books to get you started. 

2.  Participate in Shine a Light on Slavery Day - Draw a ❌ on on your hand, Post a selfie with the #endit on any social media, and share what the ❌ stands for when people ask.  That's it!

3.  Join Dressember and commit to wear a dress every day this December and raise money!  You can already create your campaign page!  If you want to disneybound with us through Dressember, join our Dressemberbound team!  If you don't want to participate but would like to make a donation, you can do that too!  

4.  Don't contribute to human trafficking through fast fashion.  This article explains it well.  But there are three simple things you can do - wear what you have, shop used, and shop ethical brands when you need something.
