Our home away from home!

We go to Florida.  A LOT!  People are always asking how we can afford to go on vacation for a week 2-3 (or 4-5) times a year.  While we have a lot of tricks up our sleeves, one of the ways we can afford this is by owning timeshare.

Now, I realize that timeshare ownership sometimes gets a bad rap, but for us, it has been wonderful!  We are owners at Vacation Village at Parkway.  We have been staying there for about 8 years now, so it truly is our home away from home!  It is one of the closest resorts to Disneyworld that isn't on Disney property - so within just a few minutes we can be at Disney.  It's so close that from some of the buildings you can see the balloon at Disney Springs and watch the Epcot fireworks from the balcony of your room!

This was the first place in Florida that our now-7-year-old stayed.  It was perfect and we remember which unit it was and point it out to him every time we go!

We love the playground and our kids have grown up playing on it.

We love the nature walks and feeding the ducks.  

We love the space to stretch out and let the kids have room to play!  SO much better than a hotel room!  

The pool is great - we especially love the splash pad and the zero entry pool. 

There are a lot of things we love about Vacation Village - but our absolute favorite things is having access to a full kitchen!  Carlos, who is the chef of the family, can still cook and we can have some down time relaxing and eating at the resort!
