Minimalist Disney Style: Disneybounding with a Green Dress

Ginger on Main Street and Magically Megan Style  recently launched an Instagram movement/hashtag surrounding the idea of #minimalistdisneystyle and restyling items to wear your favorite Disney style in multiple outfits!  As this plays into the whole Slow Fashion Movement, I was ALL IN!  I love seeing how many outfits I can get out of one piece of clothing!

March is also the month that The Disneybound does their Disneybound challenge, so I decided to choose 6 dresses and do the entire challenge with them!!!  (A challenge WITHIN a challenge!  I'm TOTALLY IN!)

March Disneybound Challenge 2019

Here are the six dresses I chose - green, blue, space, orange, black, and yellow.

So I've decided I'm going to share about the Disneybounding outfits I create with each of them.  Starting with the green dress!

The more I started Disneybounding on a regular basis, the more I realized I NEEDED a green dress! (Think Peter Pan, Tinkerbell, Tiana, etc.)  I wasn't having much luck at my local thrift store finding one, so I turned to ThredUp.  I found the perfect green dress and ordered it!  (If you haven't checked out ThredUp, you need to!  Get $10 your first purchase through this link!)

Armed with my green dress, I started to build my Disney-inspired outfits!  I use the Stylebook App and HIGHLY recommend it!  It makes it so easy to plan outfits, create packing lists, and see what items you aren't wearing!

Here are some of the outfits I've built around my green dress.  Some things I've provided links to, some things I've had for so long I'm not sure where I got them, but when possible I found a similar item to link to.  (Disclosure:  I am an Amazon affiliate and a Trades of Hope consultant, so if you purchase from those links I may make a commission, but it will not cost you anything additional!)
